Colorado CE Requirements:
Hours Required:
Residential, Journeyworker, and Master Plumber: You must complete sixteen (16) CE hours every two years. Of the 16 hours, a minimum of 8 hours must be completed during Each Year. A minimum of four (4) CE hours must be related to Codes. The Colorado State Plumbing Board defines Codes as topics related to the safe installation of plumbing installation, plumbing materials, conservation, medical gas, sanitary drainage systems, and solar plumbing.
The remaining hours must be selected from Core Competency topics. The Colorado State Plumbing Board defines Core Competencies as topics that are technical and professional subjects, related to the practice of plumbing work, which the Board deems necessary to safeguard the public. No more than two (2) hours will be accepted in CE courses related to safety training.
License Renewal Period:
Residential, Journeyworker, and Master Plumber: You must renew your license on February 28 of every odd year.
