Overview, Installation and Maintenance of Plumbing Systems & Fixtures – Part I
This is an approved online continuing education course for Residential, Journeyworker, and Master Plumbers licensed in the State of Colorado. This online interactive presentation provides an overview of plumbing fixtures, valves and accessories, as well as their installation and maintenance. In addition, this course provides key information on the design of plumbing systems, notably drainage, water supply, and fuel gas systems, as well as key guidelines for ADA accessibility and energy efficiency.
- Part I provides an overview of plumbing fixtures including water closets, urinals and showers, as well as their installation. Further this part addresses the maintenance of certain fixtures such as pipe repairs and sewer maintenance.
- Part II covers plumbing valves and accessories, including gate valves and their repair, as well as water meters and insulation.
- Part III presents some important guidelines to consider when designing ADA accessible plumbing systems.
This online interactive presentation is intended primarily for journeyman plumbers and other technical personnel who are interested in learning more about plumbing fixtures, their maintenance and the design of plumbing systems.
