Wyoming CE Requirements:
Hours Required:
Master Electricians: You must complete sixteen (16) hours of continuing education courses every three years. Of the 16 hours, a minimum of 8 hours must be in 2020 or 2023 National Electrical Code (NEC) update, and the remaining 8 hours can relate to the electrical industry or can be additional NEC hours.
Journeyman Electricians: You must complete sixteen (16) hours of continuing education courses every three years. Of the 16 hours, a minimum of 8 hours must relate to the NEC, and the remaining 8 hours can relate to the electrical industry or can be additional NEC hours.

License Renewal Period:
Master Electricians: You must renew your license by July 1, every three years after date of issuance.
Journeyman Electricians: You must renew your license by January 1, every three years after date of issuance.
Course Pre-approval:
The following courses are pre-approved by the State of Wyoming Department of Fire Prevention snd Electrical Safety (Board):
- WY 8-HR NEC 2023 and Changes from 2020
- WY 8-HR Industry Related

Provider Pre-approval:
CEDworkforce.com is approved by the State of Wyoming Department of Fire Prevention snd Electrical Safety to offer continuing education courses to licensed Wyoming Electrical Masters and Journeyman.
Online Learning:
Master Electricians and Journeyman Electricians: You can take all of your continuing education hours online.
Reporting:
We will provide you with a Certificate of Completion in support of your license renewal process.
