Hours Required:
Journeyman Electrician and Journeyman Lineman: You must complete sixteen (16) CE hours every three years. Of the 16 hours, a minimum of 8 hours must relate to the National Electrical Code (NEC) significant changes and updates, and the remaining 8 hours can be other industry-related instruction or can be additional NEC hours.
License Renewal Period:
Journeyman Electrician and Journeyman Lineman: You must renew your license every three years from when your license was issued (by the end of the issuance month).

The following courses are pre-approved by the State of New Mexico Regulation & Licensing Department – Electrical Bureau (Board):
