Delaware CE Requirements:

Hours Required:

Active Master, Master Special, Limited and Limited Special Electrician: You must complete ten (10) CE hours every two years. Beginning with your second renewal, 5 of the 10 CE hours must relate to the National Electrical Code (NEC). The remaining 5 hours can relate to the electrical industry or can be additional NEC hours.
 

Active Journeypersons, Residential and Apprentice Electrician: You must complete five (5) CE hours related to the National Electrical Code (NEC) every two years.
 

No continuing education hours may be carried over to the next licensing renewal period.

License Renewal Period:

Active Master, Master Special, Limited, Limited Special, Journeypersons, Residential and Apprentice Electrician: You must renew your license by June 30 of every even year.

The following courses are pre-approved by the State of Delaware Division of Professional Regulation (Board):
