General, Residential and Building Master, Journeyman, Maintenanceman and Contractor: You must complete sixteen (16) CE hours every two years, out of which, a minimum of:

• One (1) CE hour shall be in Chapter 10 of the Code of Miami-Dade County; and
• One (1) CE hour shall be in Florida Statute 713.

The remaining fourteen (14) CE hours shall be satisfied through courses relevant to the licensee’s area of expertise and approved by the Miami-Dade County Board.

General, Residential and Building Master, Journeyman, Maintenanceman and Contractor: You must renew your license every two years from when your license was issued.
