Master, Journeymen, and Fire Alarm Specialty Technician​: You must complete fifteen (15) CE hours within one year of the adoption of new code cycle. All hours must relate to the National Electrical Code (NEC) along with significant changes and updates. Also, CE hours must include updates to the 2023 Part 8 Michigan Electrical Final Rules.

Sign Specialist: You must complete eight (8) CE hours within one year of the adoption of new code cycle. All hours must relate to the National Electrical Code (NEC) along with significant changes and updates. Also, CE hours must include updates to the 2023 Part 8 Michigan Electrical Final Rules.

Master, Journeymen, Fire Alarm Specialty Technician, and Sign Specialist​: You must renew your license annually by December 31.

Our following course is pre-approved by the State of Michigan Bureau of Construction Codes, Electrical Division (Board):

• 15-HR MI NEC 2023 and Changes from 2020 (incl. State-Specific Content: Part 8)
